Abernecessities

Brief:

Established only 2 years ago, Abernecessities have exploded and quickly become a charity that families and children in North East Scotland rely on. With demand for their services growing at an unprecedented rate, the team were looking to create a powerful video that tells the story of why and how the charity came to ensure that “no child goes without…” The charity needed a video to introduce themselves, their impact and their needs to businesses in North East Scotland with the hope of reaching their 2020 corporate sponsorship target.

Work:

  • Concept creation

  • Pre-production

  • Storyboard

  • 3 x days filming

  • Editing

Deliverables:

  • Hero film

  • 3 x short social cuts

  • Vertical optimised film

  • A selection of stills

Outcome:

Shot across 2 different locations the Abernecessities story began to come to life. Spending time with the team, we quickly got to know their heart and their mission which made capturing their story and the genuine emotions of those involved an absolute pleasure and something we will never forget.

Danielle Flecher-Horn,
Founder of AberNecessities

“Working with Daniel at RiverCove Films has been an absolute pleasure. The team took the time to talk with us about the charity to ensure they got a real sense of what we do, how we work and our tone of voice - and it truly shows in the company video.  They really helped capture who we are, and we now use the video as a key tool in communicating and connecting with our community.

With the help of our video, we have secured more partnerships, corporate sponsors, and an incredible amount of funding for various campaigns we run throughout the calendar year.  We now see RiverCove Films as an extension of our internal team as they help us create powerful storytelling and communicate true emotions, which in turn, helps us to increase awareness and continue to support children living in poverty across the North-East.”
